Career Decision Making Program

This is a program designed to help those who are either, looking for a career change, re-entering the workforce or entering the workforce for the first time. Through a variety of internationally recognized assessments, and classroom or one-on-one workshops, an experienced Employment Facilitator will assist you in exploring occupations that fit your goals and help plan the steps to get you there.


Classroom workshops are divided into four modules: Assessments (5 days), Career Match (2 days), Research / Planning (3 days) and Foundations, (an optional 5 days). Clients can take any combination of the above modules or choose to work one-on-one, with an Employment Advisor, at their own pace.

Job Search / Coach's Corner

This program is designed to help unemployed or underemployed individuals who are looking for work. With over 25 workshops to choose from and the option of classroom or one-on-one assistance, each registered client gets a customized program providing them with labour market information and the job search tools they need. In addition, clients have access to our resource centre that has; computers with high speed Internet, a fax machine, photocopier, job postings (updated daily) and employment advisors available to assist them.

Enhanced Job Search Program

This dynamic program includes Occupational Exploration, Job Search and Employability Improvement activities which could include optional workplace skills training. Guest speakers from prominent employer groups will address the participants at key points during the program. This is followed up by 12 weeks of support or job coaching as required.

Ongoing career management is essential to all of us, especially in troubled economic times.  In the program, we review work-related skills in depth, and in particular Essential and Employability Skills.

The classroom workshops are divided into two sections : 2 mandatory weeks (10 days) in which we will look closely at sourcing employers, research, basic computer skills and email, identifying your transferable skills, generating job leads, resumes, cover letters, self-marketing and job interviews as a part of overall career management.

A further optional 2 weeks (7 to 10 days) may be added to the program as required by the participant in which we will cover customer service, team solutions, conflict resolution, MS Word for Resumes, communication, sourcing employers, time management,  e-resumes and online applications, networking, portfolio development, optional workplace skills training and Employment Standards.

Professional Career Management Workshops

Professional Career Management workshops provide a group environment to assist job seekers who are looking to develop strategies to manage their career’s with confidence. Participants can choose workshops with the emphasis on job search strategies and on-going career management.

After completing your choice of workshops, you will be able to:

Customer Service Youth Skills Link


This is a PAID 15-week program for youth ages 15-30 who want to gain knowledge and training to enable them to work in the tourism, retail, hospitality and service industries. Earn the certificates, participate in the workshops and complete the work experience to get you there!
